The school
The Carmen Spanish School is a young and fun school located in the historical center of the city of Valencia. Very close to the tourist attractions of the city. In our classes, you will always find fun and a lot of love for languages and culture.
The quality of the classes, learning and the integration of the students in the cultural environment is our priority.
Our school is completely renovated since 2019 to be more functional and also to make our students feel in a warm and comfortable environment to study Spanish. It has 6 spacious classrooms fully equipped with tables, chairs, clock, coat rack, air conditioning and audiovisual players. At the entrance, you will find the reception, where our team will always help you with everything you need with a smile.
In addition, the school has 2 adapted bathrooms near all the classrooms for student’s use. A library where you can borrow all the books and movies you like to practice your Spanish at home or if you prefer, you can read and study right here! In the library you will find spaces to read and study and also a computer for student use.
Also, there are spaces to relax and socialize in the breaks between classes where you will meet wonderful people from different countries.
In addition, since 2022 we also have a new classroom’s space a few meters away from the school with 2 spacious and fully equipped extra classrooms , an administration area , an adapted bathroom and a space for students to rest.

We define ourselves as an eclectic school that has been able to combine and merge the best of each method. Therefore, we use all those options that allow us to adapt to the personal needs of the students, so that each one learns the language at their own pace and with total flexibility. Since learning is different for everyone, and that makes it special.

Dynamism and energy are the basic pillars of our teaching, turning our classes into a place of complete activity. We believe in mistakes as a maxim of learning. Being something human that leads us to continue growing and learning from ourselves with a big smile every day.

In our Spanish classes, communication is our main focus. And from there, we introduce the other skills to help us achieve our communicative objectives. Without forgetting the sociocultural aspects and knowledge, which form our students as complex and independent users.
With this, we aim for the student to be able to communicate fluently through real communicative situations with Spaniards in a fun and effective way.
Our students
We have students of all ages and nationalities. Most of our students come from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Ukraine and Russia, but we have visitors from as many as 60 different countries!
As for the average age of the students who visit us, we can observe a great variety. 40.9% are under 30 years old, 25.3% are between 30-40 years old, 15.4% are between 40-50 years old and finally, 18.3% are over 50 years old.
Every year more than 700 students study Spanish at our school!
Our services
We offer different types of courses: group courses (intensive or extensive), individual courses, preparation for official exams (DELE and SIELE), SIELE exam center and cultural classes.
Complementary services such as: socio-cultural activities, learning orientation, registration assistance for exams, airport transfer service, orientation for obtaining official documents (NIE, TIE, study visa...), online and telephone assistance from Monday to Friday, library with lending service, learning room, etc.
